Cryo Pain management
– controlling those aches and twinges
If an injury or condition has left you in constant pain, localised cryotherapy can help to reduce it and restore your wellbeing. As one client told us, “After every session I just float out of the room!”
Does your pain keep you awake at night? Is it impacting your exercise routine or preventing you from enjoying time with your family? Does it increase when you are stressed?
Using Cryotherapy can help to reduce that constant pain and give you back your quality of life.
How Cryo Pain Management works
We treat the affected area with a cooled liquid nitrogen vapour. This constricts the blood vessels, which in turn slows inflammation and reduces swelling and pain. The result is a natural form of pain relief.
Better yet, as the blood flow is restored, the body produces a rush of endorphins which are known to improve energy levels and general wellbeing.
The benefits include:
Reducing inflammation
Reducing chronic pain
Alleviating depression
Improving sleep

“Will Cryo Pain Management work for me?”
So far, every client we’ve worked with has benefitted in some way from Cryo Pain Management. Inevitably though, the treatment benefits some more than others – it often depends on the cause of your pain and other factors like the make-up of your body. So we won’t know how this will work for you until after your first treatment.
“After a fall from a galloping horse my knee and ankle were very swollen and sore. I left it a few weeks but the swelling and soreness was still there. My husband researched Cryo Wellbeing and I made an appointment not knowing what to expect.
First session, Andrea was totally professional and took down all the information that she needed. The treatment involved cold air being put on my knee, leg and ankle. It was very pleasant. nothing to worry about. My knee especially was very warm so the cold air was a relief. Andrea then massaged my leg.
When I got off the bench I could straighten my knee (first time in 3 weeks) and the pain had gone. I really couldn’t believe the improvement.
I was going on holidays the following week and wanted to do quite a bit of walking. Therefore I had a second session. This allowed me to do all the walking I wanted to do.
Don’t think twice about having this treatment. I can’t speak more highly of Andrea and Cryo Wellbeing.”
