When I wrote this blog, I was sitting outside, feeling the warmth of the early morning sun, with Elsa sat by my side, enjoying watching and listening to the swallows and the house martens sweeping above me.
Take a Breath

Pete and I went away for the last bank holiday weekend in May to the Lake District with the dogs for a few days.
And I didn’t realise how much I needed to take myself away, have time out, enjoy quality time and to sit and reflect.
I’m a great advocate of self-care. Sometimes life gets in the way without us even realizing it, and we forget to look after ourselves.
Life is busy
Life is busy. Full stop.
There are always things to do, people to see, action lists to action.
A question I posed myself that weekend: Am I happy with everything in my life?
We always seem to be busy, even on the weekends, and, as we enjoyed walking in the Dales around the Lake District, I reflected on how we allow ourselves to become distracted, consumed by doing the chores, going places, and having to be somewhere.
So… my focus when we arrived back home was to plan that quality family and me time and continue with the meditation, which I restarted in earnest that week

Refreshed Focus
Those few days away have allowed me to step back from the business and think about the direction for the next six months.
Running your own business isn’t easy. There are never enough hours in a day, but the passion I feel for helping my clients is still as strong, if not stronger, than when I started, which is what, five years ago now!
These last few months I’ve been discovering more the power and strength of dry needling, hearing amazing feedback from my clients, both when combined with the cryotherapy, and when used in isolation. The joy the feedback brings me is immense.
My coaching clients also continue to make great strides forward in their journeys, and to watch their behaviours and mindset change slowly (and not so slowly), both during and in-between the sessions makes me feel so proud and humble. The opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives is so fulfilling… especially as I have added ADHD Coaching to my list of services to further support my clients.
Finding Your Pause
So, its so important to take some time out for yourselves, even if it’s for a cup of coffee, glass of water, play a game…
We all get distracted.
Let’s remove those distractions.
Refresh your focus and your vision.
And if you need any help, contact me here and we can have a chat.
And yes, I am happy with my life 😀
